Install Atomic Studio for Elementor

Until the plugin is listed on WordPress.org, you install it from a zip file: download it, upload it in your WordPress admin, then connect Figma.

Free · WordPress 7.0+ · PHP 8.0+ · Elementor 4.2.0+

Installation

From zip to your first import

  1. Download the zip

Select Download plugin (.zip) above and keep the file zipped — WordPress installs the zip as it is.

Safari can unzip downloads on its own. If you end up with a folder instead of atomic-studio-for-elementor.zip, turn off Open “safe” files after downloading in Safari → Settings → General and download again.

  2. Upload it to WordPress

In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin, select Upload Plugin, choose atomic-studio-for-elementor.zip, then select Install Now.

  3. Activate the plugin

Select Activate Plugin. Atomic Studio appears in the admin menu, just below Elementor.

  4. Agree to the external service

Open Atomic Studio. Conversion runs on Atomic Studio Cloud, so the plugin asks once before your site contacts it. Read the notice, then select I agree — start using Atomic Studio Cloud. Sharing your imported designs to improve conversion quality is optional and off unless you tick it.

  5. Connect Figma

Go to Atomic Studio → Connect Figma and select Authorize Figma. Figma opens in a new tab; approve access there. Access is read-only, and you can withdraw it from Figma at any time.

  6. Import your first frame

In Figma, select a frame and press ⌘L (Ctrl+L on Windows), or right-click it and choose Copy/Paste as → Copy link to selection. In WordPress, go to Atomic Studio → Import, paste the link, select Convert, check the preview, then select Import to Elementor. The page is created as a draft.

Updating and troubleshooting

Updating to a new version

Updates are not automatic until the plugin is on WordPress.org. Download the new zip, upload it the same way, and select Replace current with uploaded. Your imported pages and settings stay as they are.

“Atomic Studio needs Elementor 4.2.0 or newer”

The Atomic Studio screens stay off until Elementor is updated. Update it in Plugins → Installed Plugins, then reload.

“Atomic Studio needs Elementor's Atomic Editor”

The Atomic Studio screens stay off until it is on. Go to Elementor → Settings → Atomic Editor, select Activate, then reload.

“Elementor's Global Classes experiment is switched off”

Pages still import, but top-level containers lose their content width. Turn it on in Elementor → Settings → Atomic Editor by selecting Activate.
